COVID-19 Information And Rules

Updated 5/3/2021

NJ Governor Murphy has allowed seasonal campgrounds in New Jersey to open as of May 2, 2020. Please understand that this was done with the understanding that campground owners and campers would adhere to adopted policies that would allow campgrounds to remain open.

  • Face masks must be worn in all common areas within the campground and when social distancing is difficult to maintain.

  • Social Distancing guidelines must be followed at all times.   This means you should remain 6 feet apart from other people.

  • The campground common areas are closed until further notice. This means playgrounds, horseshoe pit, fire pit area.

  • The campground office is open however you must have a mask on when entering. To minimize people in office most transactions can also be done via the telephone @ 609-390-0431.

  • It is more important than ever that parents supervise their children at all times!  Children will not understand the need for social distancing and the importance of wearing face masks.

  • In an attempt to minimize the effect of Covid-19 at the shore, please bring all provisions with you when coming to Ocean Isle.  The campground will have propane, ice, firewood and soda.

  • If you are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 admittance into Ocean Isle Camping Resort is prohibited. If you have developed symptoms, please call the Cape May County Health Department @ 609-465-1187. If you are in quarantine from Covid-19 symptoms, please stay at home and do not attempt to quarantine at Ocean Isle Camping Resort.

The Governor’s Office has allowed campgrounds to open with the understanding that we will adhere to the above restrictions.  By participating we can ensure that Ocean Isle will remain open and hopefully get these restrictions lifted soon.  Everyone please be safe, be smart, and make the best of this!
